New York City – Water Quality Insurance Syndicate (WQIS) is joining forces with Tristate Bird Rescue and Research for their Benefit for the Birds on November 10th. WQIS has been a sponsor of Tri-State’s annual fall gala since 2001 and this year they have stepped up to be the lead sponsor.
“Over the years, WQIS has been supportive of Tri-State’s mission in many other ways,” states Tri-State’s Director of Development, Nicholas Doblick. “Richard Hobbie has been an EOW [Effects of Oil on Wildlife] committee member and the company has provided guidance and support to help increase the awareness of oiled wildlife as a professional service. They have provided opportunities for Tri-State to reach out into the industry to establish and develop new relationships.”
WQIS has been supporting Tri-State for almost 15 years and sponsored the Effects of Oil on Wildlife conference in 2000, 2005, and 2012 as well as giving a generous donation to the Spreading Our Wings capital campaign in 2008. WQIS is looking forward to the Dive In! Benefit for the Birds as well as many more future endeavors with Tri-State Bird Rescue and Research.
